Dans le cadre du projet Transco un atelier s'est tenu à Dakar en décembre 2010 rassemblant 18 ONGs (de Mauritanie, Guinée, Sénégal, Cap-Vert, Guinée-Bissau) qui travaillent à la protection de la biodiversité en général, et à celle des zones côtières en particulier.
